WordPress CMS Development Project Manager
Washington State University seeks a Data Architect/Database Administrator to provide vision and lead the effort to transition the existing and diverse web platforms of WSU News, the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences and WSU Extension to a WordPress-based content management system.
The ideal candidate for this demanding and strategically high-level position has both very strong WordPress development and people management skills.
Minimum qualifications include at least four years of professional web development, of which one must have been in a leadership role, a Bachelor’s degree, and WordPress, PHP and MySQL development experience, and the ability to leverage diverse web services.
Experience contributing to the WordPress core, and working with client/server architectures and APIs are all big pluses.
This position is a two-year appointment offering a competitive salary of $90,000/year-plus (DOE), with possible appointment to a permanent position dependent upon success.
