Web UI Designer, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Joomla

We are looking for a talented and motivated UI developer to help us shape the future of public education. The ideal candidate will be well versed in semantic web standards using light HTML markup, CSS, JavaScript and content management systems, especially Joomla. Candidates should possess strong visual design, analytical and visualization skills. If you love to solve real world business problems and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, we are looking for you. This is an opportunity to join a small team at the early stages and make a big difference.

Responsibilities will include pro-actively maintaining and developing our public facing website which includes e-commerce, membership, and document management, and to manage email campaigns as part of the marketing and publication teams, and working on the front-end for web-based tools as part of the development team.


• 2-4 years experience with web user interface development

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery

• Expertise with cross browser compatibility issues

• Experience with Email marketing and analysis

• Experience with Joomla

• Google Analytics, SEO, SEM experience

• Graphic design/layout skills

• Passionate attention to details

• Experience or desire to work in an Agile environment
