Digital Marketing Analyst with advanced statistical knowledge and business objects proficiency sought for fast growing ecommerce enterprise, to track, assess, report and shape all digital media endeavors – display, video, social, mobile, search, e-mail, site and distributed content – through use of data mining, test & control, digital analytics and campaign reporting.
ResponsibilitiesPartner with IT & Marketing to develop a best in class analytics infrastructure (applications, hardware, memory, bandwidth, algorithms) to identify, extract, receive, store, process, & analyze data to identify profitable revenue growth opportunities. Continuously extract, analyze, manipulate, and synthesize data to measure and report on online and offline customer behavior on web, mobile, and social channels, making recommendations for improvements in sales, acquisition and engagement strategies, remarketing tactics, and customer experience. Implement best practices and lead a/b and multivariate testing plans for site design, functionality enhancements, and the impact of promotions across channels. Conduct ongoing web analysis with focus on site design enhancements, usability, site structure, behavioral analysis and data mining to improve the customer experience and ROI. Produce actionable insights and recommendations to maximize conversion and increase effectiveness of online marketing programs. Preside over data measurement methods, implementing safeguards to ensure data quality, completeness and accuracy, and monitor for data abnormalities. Work closely with marketing, merchandising, creative, IT and website production teams to fulfill on-going and ad hoc reporting needs. Develop and distribute ongoing reporting, including visual representations of trended results vs. forecast and historical data. Execute timely, detailed, insightful analysis of ongoing marketing endeavors, projects, initiatives and tests, creating formalized presentations, recommending ways to improve their success and success measurement. Continuously research emerging technologies, capabilities, and trends in e-marketing and best practices, working to ensure implementation. Assist with implementation of segmentation and contact strategy. Participate in planning remarketing strategies. Participate in competitive analysis and strategy. Preside over paid search on all channels. Create surveys to obtain insight to enhance behavioral data collected. Promote understanding of web analytics metrics and tools with regularly scheduled trainings, to advance skills & capabilities of Marketing & Product Development teams Act as digital marketing expert & advocate, providing knowledge & guidance throughout the company. Participate in brand marketing strategy. Plan, direct & manage SEO strategy, including educating team members. Preside over compliance with privacy rules, ensuring that impact on data collection and use are understood and adhered to. Create and maintain detailed documentation.
RequirementsGraduate degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, or related field Experience leading ecommerce market research Knowledge of Google shifts to digitized TV, monetized video & anticipated impact on influential marketing.
5 years experience and superior competence in the followingDatabase marketing, including database design, application and data flows Modeling & statistics, cross channel analysis, building models and statistical processes (correlation, regression). Integrated marketing and CRM disciplines CRM and multi-channel analytics, predictive analytics and the predictive response model, including linear regression and multivariate testing Paid search applications, including Adwords, with up-to-date knowledge of all Adwords extensions, display networks, video and banner advertising Real time bid management Statistical market segmentation techniques Search engine performance principles, techniques & practices & SEO latest developments, including ongoing recent changes to search environments.
