We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented freelance Web Developer with a concentration on front end development. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, adhere to tight deadlines and bring a fresh perspective to our team. The right candidate will spend the majority of their time building and maintaining web sites, intranets, and extranets. The right candidate must have at least four years of web development experience. Additionally, some or all of the following technical skills are required:

•Four years of experience building and maintaining web sites, Intranets/Extranets. Expert HTML skills, including JavaScript, CSS, XML.
•Standard website management skills, including a good understanding of revision control, FTP, and best practice techniques for keeping content intact during updates, staging/production environments, web server (IIS, Apache) configuration/management etc.
•Production experience extracting content and creating assets from typical source applications including the Adobe Creative Suite (Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash) and Microsoft Office.
•Advanced JavaScript skills including experience with AJAX, Prototype, or JQuery, are a major plus
•Experience with Actionscript 2.0, PHP, ASP.NET a major plus.
•Any CMS implementations experience a major plus.
•A super-sharp eye for content. Close attention to detail.
•Excellent cognitive thinking and problem solving skills.
•Superior verbal and written communication skills are a must.
•Candidates must provide examples of code and/or online portfolio.
