Position Summary:

Monmouth University seeks a Web Developer to join a dynamic marketing and communications team that drives overall communication strategy and brand development for the University.

The candidate will use cutting edge technologies to create high performance user-centric websites. S/he is responsible for designing, building, and implementing mobile first web pages and applications that students, alumni, prospects, employees, and the community will use. S/he is responsible for ongoing maintenance and administration of our content management system.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or three years of programming experience.

Demonstrated experience using ASP , PHP , JavaScript, HTML5, & CSS3 (SCSS ). Applied experience developing for and administering an enterprise content management system (CMS ). Experience using version control, build tools, deployment tools, and testing tools.

Applied experience with browser testing and implementation changes to ensure proper display across multiple devices and browsers. Must be able to work collaboratively with other members of the University Marketing and Communications team. Strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Higher education experience.
