Sesame Communications (Anywhere, Seattle, WA, USA)

As the market leader in online communications for dentists, Sesame Communications delivers a comprehensive patient relationship management solution, including custom web sites and search marketing management.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Web Developer Specialist. This is a non-client facing position that will work with a team of art directors to develop and build client web site projects. The Freelance position works remotely.

DEVELOPER Duties and Responsibilities:

• —Ability to hand-code valid, strict XHTML, Tableless CSS
• —Experience working with JavaScript and either possess working knowledge of jQuery (or other JavaScript frameworks), or be willing to learn.
• —Familiarity building sites in PHP, without using CMS systems such as Wordpress.
• —Advanced Photoshop skills, and willingness to extrapolate on approved proofs
• —Working knowledge of Flash is a plus
• —Knowledge of SEO practices is bonus

OR

DESIGNER Duties and Responsibilities:

• —Manage production schedule for full web site designs
• —Design and build beautiful, user-friendly web sites quickly and gracefully based on art direction
• —Should be able to build CSS tableless layouts in your sleep but must also be proficient with HTML, JavaScript, PHP, and jQuery
• —Ability to work quickly and innovatively with Flash (ActionScript knowledge is a plus!) , Photoshop CS3/4, Dreamweaver CS3/4
• —Knowledge of SEO practices is a plus

Should be passionate about technology, highly communicative, reliable, and deadline-driven. Must be comfortable working within a fast-paced, start-up environment.
