Role Overview

UI/Graphic Designer

Electronic Arts is seeking a talented Visual Designer to work with Online team in creating a groundbreaking direct-to-consumer game channel.

Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable about user experience and passionate about creating elegant design solutions. We seek a designer with super clean design chops, strong comprehension of usability and UI best practices, impeccable taste, thorough attention to detail, and an ability to clearly and completely articulate visual design solutions. You are obsessed with design, able to professionally respond to feedback, and you thrive in a highly collaborative and iterative product environment.

The position entails:

Visual/graphic design across multiple online products, including banner ads, landing pages, application UI, Web UI, and email campaigns

Working neatly within established design guidelines

Creating promotional and other marketing/sales-focused graphics

Heavy lifting” – accurate and quick graphic production and batch processing

Managing multiple concurrent design tracks


Bachelor’s degree in Design, with 2+ years professional design practice, or equivalent experience

A stellar portfolio

Impeccable sensitivity to color theory, typography, priority and balance

Fluent knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and other tools

Comprehension of usability and user experience design practices

Leadership skills – the ability to work with Creative Directors and mentor Junior Designers

Demonstrable examples of e-commerce and web application work

Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS

Ability to work faithfully to existing visual style guidelines when necessary

Up-to-date knowledge of online product trends and best practices

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Passion for gaming is a big plus
