User Interface / Frontend Engineer for new children's reading site.
Cook Up Books ( http://www.cookupbooks.com ) is a new site that enables parents and teachers to change the pictures and/or text of books as part of their reading instruction.
We are looking for a talented freelance designer familiar with web standards and current trends and technologies to overhaul our current prototypical interface.
You will work on all aspects of the design:
- A new site-wide layout;
- Widgets;
- User-interactivity / application flow;
- Iconography and other graphic elements;
Necessary Skills:
- XHTML
- CSS
- Photoshop
- JQuery (a plus)
- Yahoo! YUI Grids (a plus)
No programming is required.
