User Interface Designer/Developer
Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, seeks experienced professionals to join our Intranet Shared Service Unit as a User Interface Designer/Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for translating customer requirements into website user interfaces using user-centered design and development methods.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or related field, and 3 years’ experience in user interface design for large-scale websites.
The position requires expert skills in user-centered design methods and visual/graphic design, expert understanding of relevant Web standards and guidelines, strong front-end user interface programming skills and superior communication skills. You must be an organized self-started with a strong work ethic. Your portfolio should include examples of completed user interfaces, wire frames, website maps, interface specifications and visual designs.
We prefer experience with health-related websites.
