User Experience Manager at Riot Games

Riot Games is looking for a talented and experienced User Experience Manager to join our team of high performing professionals. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology solving challenging problems in a fast-paced and results oriented environment. The User Experience Manager will be Riot’s User Experience visionary, building and leading a team of graphic artists and usability professionals. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of principles and best practices of information architecture, interaction design, internet usability, wireframe development, usability testing, web and application layouts, flows, and heuristic evaluations as well as considerable experience managing the creation of interface art and graphics.


•Build and lead a team of high performing usability professionals and graphic artists

•Manage the design of compelling rich and scalable user interfaces for web-based and desktop applications, leading the UX vision, strategy, and execution

•Work closely with cross functional teams including Marketing, Art, Community and Production to manage the creation of look & feel, graphics, styles, navigation, etc

•Manage relationships with vendors and contractors

•Evangelizes the importance of human factors, user feedback, and data-driven decisions in designing the end-to-end user experience

•Proactively identify company’s current and future UX requirements


•A minimum of 2 years experience as a User Experience Manager in the games, social networking or ecommerce space, as well as a minimum of 5 years total UX experience

•Experience building and leading small teams of high-performing Usability and Graphic Design professionals

•Experience adapting fundamental UX and graphic design techniques and workflows to work within scrum/agile methodologies

•A strong body of work that demonstrates advanced skills in social user experience design including examples of the processes and research methods that informed your designs

•Experience developing and managing UI and interaction pattern libraries

•Strong leadership and management skills

•Must having a passion for games and the gaming industry
