UX Specialist / Web Developer

Position Summaries:

- The User Experience Specialist is a member of the Pew Research Center’s digital team. This position’s primary responsibilities include planning, conducting, and analyzing usability tests and other user research, as well as consulting on information architecture and design as needed based on knowledge of published research in the field of human-computer interaction. The person in this position may also be required to create high-level designs (wireframes or sketches) of web pages and other user interfaces. The user experience specialist thinks carefully and deeply about user needs and adds a valuable perspective to the design process. The user experience specialist reports to the User Experience Team Lead.

- The Web Developer will be a member of the Pew Research digital team, with a primary focus on maintaining and expanding a pair of existing data driven web applications, and also work on developing new data features for pewresearch.org. This position reports to the Lead Web Developer.
