Job Description

The UX Designer will work with our Professional Services team to improve the design quality of our software implementations. This includes consulting with teams during the initial Blueprint Phase of an implementation, creating both high and low-fidelity mockups, and helping teams apply these designs to each implementation. The UI/UX Designer will have the opportunity to define Usability and UI best practices for our services team, help develop training and an overall UI/UX practice, as well as interact directly with customers in order to ensure the best possible designs are achieved.

Please Note: Aptitude testing is required for all positions

Duties

  • Coordinating with Usability Team in the Product Development department to create Best Practices and training the Professional Services team on these Best Practices
  • Working closely with the Project Management Office to ensure customer implementations are following UI/UX Best Practices
  • Implementing UI/UX design best practices for Professional Services projects
  • Developing strategy for UI/UX Practice in the Professional Services team
  • Developing mockups and administering end-user testing for our larger customer implementations
  • Catching Usability problems early, ensuring highest quality UI output is achieved by our Professional Services teams
  • Interacting with customers to help them understand UI/UX Best Practices

Skills/Requirements

Required Skills:

  • 3 years’ experience in Usability
  • Ability to create quick mockups
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to describe the aesthetic design and whether the design elements are effective
  • Knowledge and experience with graphics software and correct use of file formats (Photoshop)
  • Strong Web Design knowledge (CSS + HTML, firebug, DOM)


Keen eye for excellent design
  • Ability to see a UI and identify potential usability issues
  • Ability to describe the aesthetic design and whether the design elements are effective
  • Solid portfolio
