UI/UX Designer
TL;DR – This job is awesome. CarWoo! is a great place to work.
We are looking for a passionate UI/UX designer with excellent skills in graphic design, a good sense of composition, color, type, layout and style. You must have a deep appreciation for simple, intuitive, usable interfaces as well as a high attention to detail.
This position is full-time and reports to the Creative Director. You will work in our main offices in downtown Burlingame, CA (15 mins South of San Francisco, 20 mins North of Palo Alto, close to the CalTrain stations). We welcome applications from people anywhere in the United States, plus we help with moving expenses.
What does CarWoo! do?
At our core, we’re a marketplace. We connect car buyers and car dealers through our products – web and mobile apps. We enable buyers to get a great deal by providing a place where they can negotiate and communicate anonymously with dealers. When the buyer is ready, he/she can print a certificate and go down to the dealership to get the car. On the flip-side, we help dealers sell cars by bringing them serious and engaged buyers. It’s a win-win.

• Competitive salary with sweet perks like a 401k, bonuses, and other tantalizing things

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the CarWoo! product, marketing, and biz dev teams to create and maintain a consistent, engaging, and user-friendly look and feel across all CarWoo! products (web, mobile) and print material.
On a day to day basis, you could be taking on a re-fresh of our buyer product, or figuring out better converting buttons, or meeting with the CEO and Dir of Marketing about a new campaign, or creating a new brochure for a tradeshow, or interviewing dealers on how to make our product better. Not all of it comes flying at you at the same time, so you’ll get to work on a lot of fun and varied things.
Here’s a rough estimate about how your time will be divided up between tasks. 80% of your time designing for web – buyer app, dealer app, sites, and online marketing. 10% mobile design – app and sites. 10% print materials – brochures, tradeshow booths, etc.

• 3+ years design experience (less if you’re flat out awesome, more is even better!)
