What’s the Opportunity
In this role you will bring an informed approach for researching, defining and building the information architecture for a major product redesign for one of our Fortune 100 clients. You will work along side other senior team members and clients and help manage junior team members. To succeed you must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a skilled design sense, strong self-motivation, a great ability to work at a quick pace.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with business analysts, business sponsors, project managers and IT teams to obtain and understand business requirements.
- Managing and creating the new product architecture by applying client research, design standards, industry best practices in the form of high quality wireframes
- Leading review sessions with project teams, acquiring consensus and getting approvals on designs and documentation.
- Continuously developing self and the team by staying current of industry trends and best practices.
- Acting as a user experience advocate and thought leader regarding principles of user experience and user-centered design.
- Manage the project team’s expectations
Skills and Deliverables
- Expertise creating detailed wireframes
- Expertise in creating sitemaps and user flows
- Comfortable creating concept/layout sketches by hand
- Experience with designing for transactional applications
- Experience with large scale online projects – full project lifecycle
- Financial experience is a major plus
