Sr. UX Designer

As a member of our team, you’ll be designing the interfaces that marketers around the world will be using. Our application is full of social, performance, and audience data. The UI will provide easy access to stats as well as infographic-like insights. You understand how to scope large vs small asks (you know when big upfront design is needed and when it isn’t)
You are comfortable working with and possibly even sitting next to an engineer
You have stories of when you had “a-ha” moments when talking with customers
Comfortable with ambiguity and in fact thrive in such an environment
You’ve run successful user studies in the past
You have highly developed communication skills (an occasional presentation to engineering or sales won’t intimidate you)
If left alone with a clean to-do list, you look at our product and find ways to improve it
You live or are willing to relocate to San Francisco
Work with the Product team to implement a UI framework and user experience across the STR product portfolio.
Produce user flows, wireframes, prototypes, user interface specifications, and visual design.
Implement metrics & analysis to guide decision making processes
Develop a shared vision of the product across the executive, sales, marketing, and product team.
Execute on the product vision, take the lead in producing deliverables
5+ years professional experience as an interactive designer / user experience designer; with expertise in both information architecture and visual design
3+ years professional experience with web products. Experience in mobile a plus.
1+ years experience as a Lead/Senior creative contributor
Bachelor’s Degree required. Degree in design, human factors, symbolic computing, cognitive psychology, or a related field strongly preferred
Proven track record of shipping amazing products and an online portfolio to back it up.
Proven ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from product management, engineering, and marketing
Expert skill level in the standard tools of the design trade, e.g. Photoshop, Fireworks, Visio, Omnigraffle, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and HTML/CSS
Experience with agile/scrum/xp
