Sorriso Technologies Inc.® is the leading provider of online software portals for bill presentation, bill payment, self-service, and bill-centered marketing. Our Persona Solution Suite™ targets both small and large billers with on-demand (SaaS) and customer premise based (Enterprise) delivery options.

Sorriso is recruiting a strong web-UI developer to join our team. In this position, you will work closely with customers and other Sorriso team members to develop bill presentment applications using Sorriso software and supporting technologies.

What we are looking for:
• Highly creative, out-of-the-box thinker
• Excellent communicator & conceptual thinker
• Strong technical and user-centric designer
• Experienced in integrating UI’s in an application environment.
• Have 3+ years in Photoshop (Cutting up PSD’s, creation a real bonus), Illustrator, and Flash
• Have 3 – 5 years Semantic and valid (X)HTML and hand coded CSS/Tables experience.
o Cross Browser CSS
o JavaScript (jQuery experience a bonus)
• Have 1 – 2 years XML/XSLT experience
• Experienced working with JSP, Tiles and Struts, Apache, Web logic, Ajax.

As part of your job, you will be asked to work in many roles, carrying out many responsibilities listed below:

Information Architect:
• Site usability: terminology, navigation and flow, knowing your target audience, & content organization
• Gather client requirements, producing documentation & use cases.
• Storyboard screen flows & system flows.
• Work with Creative Lead and Visual Designers to ensure that visual design accurately supports the information design

Visual Designer:
• Work with visual designers to create refinements or subsequent iterations of visual design deliverables.
• Assist Information Architects in storyboarding and prototyping, particularly with respect to production of diagrams, mockups and other visual aids
• Assist Visual Designers and Information Architects in creating walkthroughs and clickable mockups
• Hand off to UI Developers the final, web-optimized image slices
• Contribute visual design services to internal non–project-related marketing and internal company needs

UI Developer:
• Create cross-browser semantic markup that is up to date with W3C guidelines.
• Assist Bill data experts in mapping client data to online template formats.
• Adapting designs to technology
• Interactive prototypes, clickthrough code that conveys system flow.
• Final front-end code. Includes HTML, Javascript, Flash, CSS & othertechnologies.
• Create documents such as Style guides, Visual specifications and requirements based off designs.

• Please note, ability to travel is required. 25% of your time will be traveling.
