Senior Web Services Developer
We are looking for an experienced web service developer to join Bloomberg’s Web Shared Services team. As part of the team, you will be designing and developing high performance services as well as common components throughout Bloomberg’s mobile and web-based properties. As a member of the team, you will also be called upon to advocate for best practices across the web teams.
Examples of Web Shared Services projects:
- Finance: provides up to the minute and historical financial data for consumer and subscription web properties
- Video: full video repository solution and packaged web-based player (both flash and native)
You will report to the R&D Head of Web Shared Services and work with a mid-sized team that interfaces with numerous internal R&D and business teams as well as external syndication clients.
- Must have 6+ years of experience developing scalable Web Services in Java
