LevelTen Design (Dallas, Texas - Uptown)

LevelTen is seeking an ultra-talented, agency-level Senior Designer with web design experience. As our ideal candidate, you must have strong leadership & communication skills, be performance driven, and be able to inspire innovative design solutions and creativity.

You will be involved with new business development including attending client meetings in order to translate client goals, and then leading the design process and collaborating with the development and marketing teams in order to realize powerful experiential websites.

You will be responsible for managing all creative projects, development of visual concepts and designs that reflect our clients’ businesses and target audiences. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing all creative elements and the visual direction of projects. This position will involve hands-on design and providing art direction for both in-house and freelance designers.

Your typical tasks will include:

• Creating original concepts and graphics for the web
• Directing execution of creative concepts through to completion on multiple projects
• Promoting teamwork across technical, sales and marketing teams
• Managing in-house and freelance designers
• Monitoring and signing off on overall artistic quality of all deliverables
• Developing and documenting internal branding rules
• Ensuring quality and consistency between design, content, and Information Architecture
• Researching new and better ways to improve the user experience

Requirements

• 5+ years of agency-level art direction, graphic and web design experience
• Previous experience designing intuitive interfaces – portfolio of work and projects required
• Solid understanding of web interface design and usability best practices
• Ability to accurately translate business requirements into marketing oriented creative design
• Exceptional oral communication skills / ability to communicate with clients, vendors, partners and staff
• Proven ability to lead and mentor
• Thorough attention to detail
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Extensive experience hand coding standards compliant XHTML/CSS skills for cross-browser rendering
• Working knowledge of Flash, JavaScript, PHP & AJAX

Bonus Skills

• Print design with print pre-press experience
• Marketing strategy experience

This is a full-time salaried position. Salary will be based on experience.
