Your duties:
• Design digital campaigns that build customer relationships and brands. Campaign components may consist of all or any of the following: Web, Email, Mobile and other platforms that may include social media or similar emerging technologies.
• Translate established brand aesthetic from various media channels to the digital space. Create a unique look and feel when no guidelines are in place.
• Lead design efforts and where applicable, assist junior designers throughout the design process
• Work with the Art Director to develop Studio best practices and guidelines where needed
• Closely collaborate with the Art Director, other team members and key stakeholders in ideation and creative concepts
• Support the Art Director occasionally with such tasks as:
• Delivering presentations to internal stakeholders/clients
• Authoring user-flows, wireframes and other interactive design documentation
Your qualifications:
• 4+ years’ interactive design work
• At least 1 year’ experience as Senior Designer / Lead Designer in an interactive environment with a portfolio that demonstrates user-centered design practices including usability, interface design, and interaction design. Agency experience is a plus.
• Post-secondary education in digital media or equivalent work experience
• Strong creative, conceptual thinker; able to execute against strategic business objectives
• Solid experience in designing digital campaigns of all sizes (big builds, micro-sites and email). Focus on direct digital marketing / customer relationships a plus.
• Fluency in industry process, benchmarks, and web 2.0. Strong knowledge and opinions of social media and other emerging technologies and their impact on customer relationships
• Mastery of latest design tools including Adobe Photoshop, Image Ready and Illustrator. Flash and other related software a plus
• Ability to wireframe, document user flows and contribute to the Interaction Architecture process
• Strong understanding of front-end interactive design solutions. Working knowledge of capabilities of different platforms and browsers, and their design constraints on the digital space
• Ability to interface well with cross-disciplinary teams (front-end developers, copywriters, animators, account managers, project managers, etc.
• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills and presentation skills
• Strong time management skills. Able to manage shifting priorities. Maintains commitment to deadlines. Works effectively under pressure.
