ABOUT SKOOBE
Skoobe is a Munich-based startup. Our goal is to create the best ebook offer for iOS, Android and potentially other mobile and tablet platforms. Two of the largest international book publishing companies, Random House and Holtzbrinck, are among our investors.
JOB SUMMARY
Skoobe is seeking an experienced UI/UX designer with at least 3 years of professional experience with apps and/or websites, a passion for books and mobile applications as well as great visual design and prototyping skills. You’ll be responsible for all design aspects, continuous iterative improvements to the existing product and website, as well as design of new features and exploring new interactions.

- You approach problems in a human-centred way: Your designs are based on insights about people. You like to work with users to identify pattern and develop insights.
- You are passionate about reading, design and usability.
- You inspire the team through user perspectives and design research.
- You are up-to-date concerning temporal qualities of visual design, technological innovations and social change.
- You understand the value of design and brand within a business context.
YOUR SKILLS
- Visual UI development for apps and websites
- Information architecture
- Mobile interfaces best practices/guidelines
- UI design and prototyping tools and software (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
