PHP and MySQL Developer
Cite Media is looking for talented web developers to join our expanding team.
Responsibilities:
- Development and ongoing maintenance of websites and supporting web applications.
- Development of custom web applications including customer management systems, content management systems, payment gateway integrations, and other back-end management tools.
- Integration of existing systems with external API’s or data gateways.
- Take direction from lead developer on methods and approaches where needed.
- Collaborate with our local and virtual team of designers, developers and other members through Skype, Asana and other web-based tools.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 3-5 years of industry experience in web development.
- PHP 5.3+, MySQL, JavaScript and AJAX, High Level OOP.
- Java/J2EE and Phython/Django an asset.
- Experience with the Git code versioning system.
- Experience with MVC frameworks.
- Working knowledge of the Symfony framework a big plus.
- Experience writing Unit/Functional Tests.
- Fluent in working within the Linux desktop environment, Linux system administration abilities a plus.
- Ability to rapidly adapt to changing web technologies and adopting new systems and approaches quickly.
This is a full time, on-site position at our S.E. Calgary office. Starting wage: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
