Looking for an exceptionally talented full-time, remote PHP Developer.

You will help shape the future of products & online marketing for FreedomSoft and RealEstateMogul.com, leaders in real estate education and software. The ideal candidate is passionate about development, has a thorough understanding of user experience, and a vision for how these can be best applied across both Web & Mobile platforms. You’ll join a team of 10 designers & developers, but work on a single project initially with one UI developer and one project manager; responsibilities will expand to several projects over time.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to shape ideas and solutions
  • Work with product management to define product features and functionality
  • Work closely with design teams to implement user interface designs

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision
  • 100% commitment and appetite to work in a start-up environment
  • Strong understanding of site structure, navigation, UI principles, wireframes, and user flow
  • Proven track record of delivering results under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • A natural diplomat with strong communication, coordination, scheduling, collaboration skills, and the ability to stay highly organized are critical
  • Friendly and engaging personality
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Technical Skillset:

  • Expert-level PHP 5 / MySQL
  • Object-oriented programming: Experience with MVC and its concepts
  • Version control: Git or SVN experience, but ideally Git
  • PHP Frameworks: Experience with Code Igniter PHP framework
  • CMS: PyroCMS experience a plus, but not necessary
  • Front-end Interaction: AJAX experience a plus
