We’re growing again!

SocialHP and CityBlast are pioneering a technology we’re calling “mass social media publishing”. We’re pushing the envelope of what’s possible with social media which means you’ll be pushed to your personal limits too!

We’re a team of 7 from all over the world (Canada, United Kingdom, Portugal and United States) and it’s a pretty laid back environment but obviously we are focused on the quality of code that we deliver.

Even though our team is virtual, we’re looking for people who want to be part of our family. If you treat us like family, we’ll treat you like family too! (For example, last year we gave Jose our Portugese programmer 4 tickets to the Sporting Lisbon/Braga game. All of the programmers are going to ZenCon this year too.)

From our perspective, we’re looking for someone who has a firm understanding of MVC. Knowledge of the Zend Framework is a bonus but any framework is fine (Cake, Symphony, whatever).

jQuery is a must.

If you’ve used Active Records, that’s a huge, huge bonus.

We use SVN. We also use Basecamp to track all of our bugs and code request changes.
