Sq1 Agency is looking for a multi-talented PHP Developer to join our growing development team. As a part of this team you will work closely with our development lead and project managers in a fast paced environment to plan, develop, test, and deploy web projects such as marketing landing pages, CMS powered websites, e-commerce, full-scale web applications, and internal systems.

The ideal candidate knows the ins and outs of PHP and is a master at using server side technology and programming to find innovative solutions to functionality requirements. You must also have a strong competency in HTML/CSS and have a passion for staying up to date with the latest trends and best practices. You have an attention to detail and enjoy reading and writing clean code.

Interested candidates must be located in the Dallas, TX area.

Experience

  • 3+ years experience developing custom solutions in PHP/MySQL, HTML/CSS, and Javascript
  • Experience working with Web Services and open-source frameworks
  • Proficiency with off-the-shelf CMS platforms such as WordPress, Joomla, MODx, and others
  • Ability to create compelling and clean front-end
  • Passion for learning and sharing knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with creative and development team to create complete web based solutions using PHP/MySQL/HTML/CSS
  • Participate in all aspects of development (design, planning, development and deployment)
  • Refactor and optimize code
  • Complete development projects successfully and on time

Technical Skills

  • PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Git, bash/shell/command line
