We are seeking an outstanding web designer to play a key role within the product development team. The designer will work closely with the team to create best-of-class web businesses. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
TECHNICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• Four-plus years experience in design for consumer-oriented websites, agency preferred.
• Expert proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Proficient with Flash
• A passion for social networks – we strongly prefer candidates with an active interest in MySpace and/or social networking/dating/lifestyle sites in general
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic work environment demanding rapid turn around and necessary change in direction
• Detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational and project management skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• High energy, yet level-headed personality with a ‘can-do’ attitude
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with Photoshop to design and best in class social networking applications and sties
• Interact with cross-functional teams, including product managers, information architects and developers to confirm that all build requirements are met.
• Manage external design resources when necessary
