Small publishing firm is looking for a Jr. Web Developer to join our Team and become responsible for the development and functionality of the Company websites associated with our multiple publications. This position will program and maintain our websites, participate in web development projects, identify applications, and work closely with marketing initiatives.

Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science, IT or Web Development and 1-2 years web application development in structure design, programming and testing. Candidates must have knowledge of Rails and experience developing semantic websites with structure, presentation and HTML and CSS. Familiarity with MySQL, jQuery, Java, PHP is a plus! Self-motivation, good communication skills, flexibility and the ability to keep on top of the rapidly changing publishing industry is required.

Salary mid $40s.
