Interface Designer

As an Interface Designer, you will be responsible for translating ux deliverables (wireframes, prototypes) into fully executed interface designs. You will be working with a broad range of clients to help them steer the creative direction and to ensure the project is aligned closely to their existing brand standards. You will be creating interfaces for a range of platforms, including: websites, mobile applications, software and embedded systems. In addition to creating moodboards, design concepts and style guides, you will also be participating in the UX process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with the client and internal team to either establish or understand a given creative direction
  • Develop moodboards, concepts, design concepts and style guides for a multitude of platforms
  • Collaborate with other interface designers, UX designers and developers to define the best design solution
  • Meet timeline deadlines and budget constraints on multiple simultaneous projects
  • Be accountable for and take ownership of the design standards through the entire life-cycle of a project
  • Must be able to communicate design decisions through a solid understanding of client needs
  • Be able to accept direction and feedback from senior designers and the ability to provide constructive feedback on others work

  • Adapt to a wide range of project types and timeframes
  • Quickly and efficiently identify and prioritize requirements across multiple projects
  • Possess and exhibit a strong affinity for, and attention to, detail
  • Possess a natural inclination towards user experience and general usability, ensuring quality accordingly
  • Think creatively and on-the-fly, easily changing gears in order to provide varied approaches as necessary
  • Communicate clearly and concisely

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years experience as an interaction designer, UX designer, web designer or related role
  • Proficiency in a variety of design tools including Adobe Creative Suite, OmniGraffle, Visio or equivalent
