Interactive Associate Creative Director

The Associate Creative Director will have 8+ years of interactive agency experience and a portfolio featuring stellar work for national brands. This position requires a breadth of experience from large application driven sites to promotional microsites and campaigns.
Responsibilities- Provides thought leadership and strategic direction relating to the development of creative capabilities, support technology and delivery process
- Collects, organizes, synthesizes and presents creative direction briefing materials for project kick-off meetings
- Directs the concept development process including supporting verbal and written communications
- Provides creative/project team leadership
- Assists the Creative Director in the development of departmental objectives and supporting budgets related to equipment, materials and training
- Attends resource meetings and works directly with Traffic Functionary to manage resources including staff/project scheduling by discipline, role, utilization and skill
- Approves time sheets and provides monthly report to Exec. Creative Director
- Contractor selection and screening with support staff input
- Creative oversight of project deliverable to ensure quality, and strategic alignment
- Presents creative work products in internal and client reviews
- Interfaces with Traffic Functionary and project management to resolve resource/scheduling conflicts
- Participates in project scoping as it relates to Creative Department resources, estimates and work effort to ensure schedule and budget compliance
- Creates and reviews estimates and invoices as they relate to contract resources and materials to maintain budget compliance
- Degree(s) in the following or related: Communication Arts, Advertising, Journalism or Information Design
- 8+ years of related experience working within the Creative Services department of an Interactive Marketing Agency, Advertising Agency, Design firm or Communication /Media Property
- Extensive knowledge of rich media and experience in the creation and direction of Rich Media Marketing Campaigns and websites
- Ability to manage multiple projects and project groups
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creative thinker with big ideas and a hands-on approach
