Interaction Designer & Front End Developer

Leadformance ( is a fast growing “software as a service” company established in 2007, supported by a private Swiss fund, and producing a specialized software solution to create strong relationships between consumers, brands, and reseller networks. Our solution is of a store locator type, based on innovating technologies and it is intended for large brands disposing of a distribution network. Our clients are large companies with international point of sale networks.

We are a European/North American company with office locations in Atlanta, Toronto, Paris and Chambéry. Our development team is globally distributed through Europe and North America. We are a relaxed, fun loving and committed team of people!


As an Interaction Designer / User Experience Designer, you will:

- Write user stories

- Design and document new features

- Elaborate highly detailed wireframe product maps

- Create interactive prototypes

- Write clear and documented design specs

- Collaborate closely with developers and graphic designers

- Participate to Behavior Driven Development

- Perform user testing

As a front end developer you will:

- Bring to life the works of both the code and graphical teams

- Ensure our interface provides the best possible UX

- Test and implement the UI on every platform

- Provide a bug free and high performance experience to our clients

- Always find the simplest and most efficient way to create a call to action

- Improve the internal procedures to shorten the delivery processes

- Suggest and challenge new approaches for the design and the code

- Collaborate with the designers and programmers

Our environment:

- Ruby on Rails, Haml/Sass, Javascript

- Behaviour Driven Development, CruiseControl.rb

- Git, Pivotaltracker, Basecamp, Talkerapp


- You will have to use Adobe Fireworks on a daily basis

- Previous experience with Rspec/Cucumber is a plus

- Template engines experience is mandatory, knowledge of Liquid is a real plus

Required skills:

• Proficiency in designing high and low level mockups

• Strong understanding of the web technologies your designs will be implemented in

• Passion for user experience best practices and user-centered design

• Extreme attention to pixel-level details and user interface consistency

• Excellent culture of web-based products and applications

• Comprehensive knowledge of Ruby on Rails templates

• Motivation for UI/UX optimization

• Hand coding (X)HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Strong Ruby front-end language programming skills

• Web Services experience

• Good capabilities in writing documentation

• Version Control Systems experience (GIT)

• Good understanding of behaviour driven development

• Search engine optimization savvy
