Graphic Designer

Venice Beach, CA

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a creative and resourceful individual who can design with direction on either ends of the spectrum. This individual has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, along with the ability to prioritize and be organized. He/She will be responsible for designing client work as well as company marketing collateral.

Qualifications:

Solid knowledge of the print and web graphic design

Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (for Mac)

Ability and experience illustrating vector/raster graphics from scratch (not using stock images or graphics) Please provide examples

A good sense of layout, balance and how to graphically display information

Broad knowledge of current design trends

Brainstorming and mocking up design ideas

Strong understanding on the logic and creation of infographics

Team player who is open to feedback, revisions, and working closely with a web designer

Experience working with web design, familiarity with HTML and CSS is ideal

Some projects include: web layout, infographics, email newsletters, web banners (animated/static), etc.

Preferred:

Passion for technology and the latest trends in tech and design

2+ years professional experience

Mobile web graphic design experience

Familiarity with JavaScript

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Bachelors degree in Web/Graphic/Media design

Our office is located in sunny Venice Beach, California, a block from the sand and surf (yep, we dress pretty casual around here).
