About This Job
As Polyvore’s graphic designer, you will be responsible for Polyvore’s visual assets across all avenues. You will design and produce all marketing, sales, and business collateral—this ranges from printed reports, email newsletters, and presentation templates to graphics and banner ads for online use. You will also be called upon to help out with things like designing gifts for Polyvore members, establishing the website look and feel, or creating new items to include in Polyvore sets. You will have the opportunity to establish Polyvore’s corporate identity by creating and maintaining a visual brand guideline for use across all platforms.
You design engaging visual experiences through the use of typography, layout, and color. You live and breathe Adobe Creative Suite products. You have guru-like knowledge of principles from Bauhaus and Web 2.0 eras of design but you don’t take yourself too seriously. You design for the end user, but understand that there’s a balance with product and business goals. You own projects from end to end and are organized in the execution. You are creative, self-motivated, organized and enjoy working with cross-functional teammates.
