About Us:

We are a Bay Area-based startup focused on sports data. We are looking for a talented person (contract) to lead our user and information design efforts.

About You:

+ You will be our lead designer for Web/UI work, and will take ownership over designing new elements of our website as well as improving the pages that exist.
+ You’ll be working with our development team and will take responsibility for the usability and presentation throughout the site.
+ You have significant experience in turning data into eye candy.
+ Your portfolio should demonstrate your ability to work independently, as we do not currently have design or UI experience in-house.
+ You are an expert at XHTML, CSS, Photoshop

Bonus points for:

++ Experience with JavaScript/AJAX libraries, such as JQuery, MooTool, and Prototype
++ Experience in landing page optimization, design for direct response, A/B and multivariable testing
