Front End Engineer
We are looking for someone to help our frontend team with building cool new products and features. We are both extending our current dashboard and building entirely new dashboards. We are also making widgets, sidebars, browser extensions, and mobile apps. You can be a part of building all this!
As we are trying to bring analytics to a whole new group of people, there are also plenty of design challenges. On top of that, things move fast and change frequently. There are enough challenges for at least five people, but we are looking for just one right now :)
We are a fairly small and flexible team, and have pretty fluid role definitions. Everybody chips in where, and when, needed. That said, the person we will be hiring will have a very big affect on the look and features of our frontend, and will be driving new features and even whole products.
Tasks
development of the frontend logic and UI
participating in the design of new features and implementing them
evolve the architecture of the frontend
evolve the chartbeat frontend to work (better) on mobile platforms
integrate with, and possibly extend, the backend APIs
build widgets for both internal and external use
What You Have
a love for building frontend features
extensive JS/HTML/CSS experience
fluency in things like CSS transitions and Canvas
implemented major UIs/UI components before
