Underscore, a design agency based in the heart of London, is after a seasoned (+3yrs) client-side web designer/developer that can turn gorgeous designs into functional sites. You’ll need to be proficient in web standards, accessibility, SEO, progressive enhancement, and as much client-side scripting as possible. This is a critical position that will bridge the gap between our award-winning designers and our server-side gurus, so clear communication, an understanding of a wide array of technologies, and a willingness to wear any number of hats to ensure the job is done right, are all musts.

Required Skills: Excellent knowledge in web standards, the semantic web, XHTML, CSS, SEO concepts, and JavaScript. Would-be-nice Skills: ActionScript, FLEX, AJAX, PHP, microformats, mobile & alternative devices, anything else Web 2.0 and beyond.

This has the potential to turn into a full time position.
