Freelance or Full-Time Web Designer/Print Designer/Web Developer

Silexx Financial Systems, an upstart innovator in the financial technology space, is looking for kick-ass full-time, contract and freelance professional designers, web designers & web developers (remote or local) to join its growing ranks. If all goes well, you can expect ongoing work.

You will be working on any of several projects, from revamping our web and mobile offerings, working with ASP.NET MVC and Wordpress or print and media design. You embrace new challenges, have attention to detail, perfection is your middle name, you are the grandmaster of your respective field.

The Dream Candidate:

  • Thrives on the creative and problem-solving nature of interactive development
  • Has a strong understanding of web interface and/or print and media design – proportion, typography, color – all that stuff
  • Dreams in jQuery, CSS3 and HTML5, strong ASP.NET MVC C# skills
  • You are the ultimate design and/or developer geek. If you acquired your skills in your grandmas basement, on campus or at a Fortune 500 company, we care about your skills at present and require you to have an opinion and ingenious ideas
  • Social media is not a foreign concept to you and you know how to put it to use
  • Is available to work during US East Coast business hours, for extended periods, on multiple projects and if all goes well, doesn’t mind visiting or spending time at our Sarasota, FL offices, beach trips included
  • Has his/her own hardware/software/connectivity ready to go
  • Is a reliable, stable, mature supplier, who can meet deadlines & deliver work that exceeds expectations, without excuses or drama

It would be terrific, if:

  • Not only know what ‘responsive web design’ means, but can actually build sites using flexible grids media queries
  • Gets high score on jQuery wizardry with a badge of honors in Adobe Illustrator
  • Is otherwise uncommitted. We don’t want to battle other projects/engagements for your time. We are looking to build long-term/full-time relationships
