At R/GA, Interaction Designers are integral to the creative process and play pivotal roles in the strategy, conception and design of groundbreaking multi-context platforms like Nike Plus, Nokia Vine, and NikeiD. We are seeking Interaction Designers of all levels who have experience connecting customers and brands through trans-formative brand experiences. Preference will be given to people who demonstrate a combination of strategic, conceptual and design chops.

Creative Director

Responsibilities for Creative Directors include:

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams in the creation of best-in-class user experience

• Help define business opportunities and translate insights into consumer-facing experiences

• Enable the creation of concept models, user interface sketches, and schematics.

• Provide leadership, training, and mentor-ship to other Interaction Designers

Qualifications include:

- Several examples of successfully launched projects which demonstrate strategic, conceptual and creative thinking

- At least 8+ years experience in an Interaction Design role

- A solid understanding and demonstration of user centered design principles

- Demonstrated ability to lead the design of large + complex systems of interactions

- A good understanding of what types of experiences are made possible by current digital technologies

- Able to develop simple and elegant design approaches to complex design problems

- Able to collaborate actively as part of a multi-disciplinary team

- In possession of excellent interpersonal communication skills, analytical and leadership skills

- Must be organized, able to act independently, and able to switch rapidly between different projects in a fast-paced environment

- Can work with grace under pressure

- Demonstrated thought leadership in at least one of the following domains; product design, commerce, mobile, branding, retail, and social media a plus

Associate Creative Director

Responsibilities for Associate Creative Directors include:

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams in the creation of best-in-class user experience

• Help define business opportunities and translate insights into consumer-facing experiences

• Enable the creation of concept models, user interface sketches, and schematics.

• Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to other Interaction Designers

Qualifications include:

- Several examples of successfully launched projects which demonstrate strategic, conceptual and creative thinking

- At least 6+ years experience in an Interaction Design role

- A solid understanding and demonstration of user centered design principles

- Demonstrated ability to lead the design of large + complex systems of interactions

- A good understanding of what types of experiences are made possible by current digital technologies

- Able to develop simple and elegant design approaches to complex design problems

- Able to collaborate actively as part of a multi-disciplinary team

- In possession of excellent interpersonal communication skills, analytical and leadership skills

• Translate abstract concepts into simple and elegant user interfaces

• Create concept models, user interface sketches, and detailed schematics.

• Work closely with fellow creatives and developers to ensure the solidity of design systems

Qualifications include:

- Several examples of successfully launched projects which demonstrate strategic, conceptual and creative thinking

- At least 3+ years experience in an Interaction Design role

- A solid understanding and demonstration of user centered design principles

- A good understanding of what types of experiences are made possible by current digital technologies

- Able to develop simple and elegant design approaches to complex design problems

- Able to collaborate actively as part of a multi-disciplinary team

- In possession of excellent interpersonal communication skills, analytical and leadership potential

- Must be organized, able to act independently, and able to switch rapidly between different projects in a fast-paced environment

- Can work with grace under pressure

- Demonstrated thought leadership in at least one of the following domains; product design, commerce, mobile, branding, retail, and social media a plus
