Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, currently seeks a talented Art Director to work with our industry-leading online and print products used worldwide by health consumers, employers and member organizations. You will be involved in planning, designing and creating standards-based, media-rich websites utilizing video, audio and Flash; designing for books, newsletters and calendars, and will work closely with our corporate marketing team on various print and new media projects including promotional websites, e-mail marketing, trade advertising, direct mail, collateral materials, displays and more.

To qualify for this position, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Medical Illustration or related field. Candidates should have at least 5 years’ experience in the design and conceptualization of professional or commercial design projects and a strong portfolio of completed projects. Ideal applicants will be able to showcase their skills in HTML, CSS, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Conceptual understanding of scripting and server-side languages is preferred, but not required.
